For me it comes down to knowing when to shift the conversation to where it's truly needed. Can we use AI to sort our thoughts and clear our head? Absolutely. Can we use AI to navigate our entire emotional landscape and understand how we feel? No, it's not designed or intended to do, but it's within other peoples scope of practice to do that for us and with us.

I love this distinction. As a former middle school teacher & a full-time dad, how are you planting these seeds of distinctions within the next gen (or how do you encourage us grownups to do so) ...? Thanks for your input!

For now from the dad side it's just about not being afraid to have those vulnerable conversations about emotions with my kids. Encouraging grownups starts with letting them know where the line of ones capability and expertise is. As humans we always want to have the answers or the solution, but we have to learn to be okay with saying we aren't the person to solve this.
