Centering Thought: All feelings, those that feel bad and those that feel good, come and go. I can allow myself to observe any of my feelings and gain information that can be helpful to me, because even “bad” feelings can give me “good” information to help me live my life fully.
The word “feelings” can apply to many things: the way our bodies physically feel, the thoughts we are having in our head (such as negative self-talk vs. a positive mental attitude, or growth mindset) and, of course, the moods we feel.
