Centering Thought: I can choose to use the act of avoidance to empower myself, whenever I understand exactly why I am using it and how it benefits me. I can limit my use of the tactic of avoidance if I find that it is to my detriment, either limiting my life in a way I do not ultimately want or passively impacting my progress unintentionally. Then I can identify a first step to take, so that avoidance does not become procrastination.
